Bhutan, officially the kingdom of Bhutan is a landlocked country in south Asia. It is situated at the eastern end of the Himalayas. It is bordered with China to the north and India to the south, east and west. It is separated from Bangladesh by the Indian states of Assam and west Bengal.
The capital and the largest city of Bhutan is Thimpu. Bhutan is known as the land of the thunder dragon. The land area of Bhutan is 38,394 square kilometers. The population estimated in 2015 was 770 thousand people. The official language of Bhutan is Dzongkha. Most of the people of Bhutan practice Buddhism. Men wear ‘Gho’-a knee long robe and women wear ‘kira’ a sheet like cloth piece. They build their house with mud, stone and wood. Bhutan’s political system

is rich with its natural beauties, wild-life and wilderness. It is a famous tourist attraction. In 2014, Bhutan received 1,33,480 international visitors. Bhutan is the happiest country in Asia.
